What does dental insurance typically cover?

Our dental insurance plans

ALWAYS cover preventive care (cleanings, exams, etc), 100% regardless of the plan chosen.
Basic procedures (fillings and extractions) up to 90% based on the plan you choose.
Major services (crowns, bridges, and root canals) up to 70% with NO CAP on major services. Coverage levels vary by plan.

Is there a waiting period for dental coverage?

Regardless of the plan you choose, there is no waiting period for Preventive and Basic Procedures. There is a 12-month waiting period only for Major services such as surgery, dentures, bridges, etc.

Does vision insurance include glasses and contact lenses?

Yes, our vision plans typically cover annual eye exams, eyeglass frames, lenses, and contact lenses. Coverage amounts and frequency depend on your selected plan.

Can I use my own dentist or eye doctor?

Many of our plans through Running Shius Agency offer both in-network and out-of-network benefits, but staying in-network saves you more.

What is critical illness insurance from the Running Shius Agency?

Critical illness insurance provides a lump-sum cash benefit if you’re diagnosed with a serious illness like cancer, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure, helping to cover costs not paid by traditional health insurance.
