About us
We’re Wade and Victoria Shiu. We spent two decades behind a pharmacy counter before we ever sold a policy, and everything we do now comes from what we saw there.
Our story
For over twenty years we stood on the other side of that counter. People would come in for something they needed, find out what it cost, and we’d watch the decision happen on their face. Some of them put it back.
Not because they were careless with money. Because their plan didn’t cover it properly, and nobody had ever sat down and told them there were other options.
We could explain the medication. We could explain the interactions and the side effects and what to take it with. What we couldn’t do from behind that counter was fix the actual problem, which was almost always the coverage.
So we learned that side too. Now when someone tells us what they take, we already know what it costs, which tier it sits on, and which plans handle it better. That’s not a sales skill. That’s twenty years of watching people get stuck by something that was fixable.
